Massive fire breaks out in textile shop, 3 firefighters injured
New Delhi (IANS). Three firefighters were injured while extinguishing a fire at a clothing shop in Delhi’s Karol Bagh area. A Delhi Fire Service official gave this information on Thursday.
According to a senior DFS official, the fire was reported at 8.20 pm on Wednesday night.
“A total of 15 fire tenders were sent to the clothing shop where the fire broke out,” the officer said.
“The fire was brought under control by 2.55 am on Thursday, but three firefighters sustained minor injuries during the operation. They were given first aid,” the official said.
“The cause of the fire is not yet known,” the official said.
