Massive fire broke out in the battery box of Vande Bharat Express
Bhopal. The coach of Vande Bharat Express caught fire due to a short circuit in the battery box. Bhopal Railway Division has given this information on Saturday on the basis of the said investigation report. The incident of fire is of 15 July. According to officials of Bhopal Railway Division, investigation revealed that there was a short circuit in the battery box, due to which the fire broke out. Battery maker Medha company officials have been directed to take better care. It has also been said that such incidents should not be repeated. This investigation has been done by a five-member committee. In which Senior Divisional Safety Officer, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer, Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer, Senior Divisional Operations Manager, Senior Divisional Safety Commissioner were included. The technical audit of the said rake of Vande Bharat Express was done in Delhi on the very second day of the incident. It is noteworthy that in the early hours of July 15, this train had left for Hazrat Nizamuddin from Rani Kamlapati Railway Station, smoke was seen rising near Kalhar station in the lower part of coach C-14. After this the train was stopped at Kaithora station in Kurwai before Bina. When the battery box was opened here, flames came out from it, which engulfed the outer part of the coach. The entire train had to be evacuated due to this incident of fire. The passengers had to worry. For some time, a situation of panic was created. Even to douse the fire, replace the box and battery, and carry out technical checks, it took three hours.
