Greater Noida: A massive fire broke out in a closed tent warehouse in Greater Noida last night. Due to this, goods worth lakhs of rupees kept inside the warehouse were burnt to ashes. The fire brigade was informed about the fire. After this, 10 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and controlled the fire after a lot of effort. The fire was so fierce that its flames could be seen from a distance of about a kilometer. At present, the cause of the fire is not yet known. This incident took place near Khairpur Gurjar village of Ecotech Third police station area of Greater Noida.
Gautam Budh Nagar Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Choubey said that the fire control room had received information around 9 pm on Friday night that a fire had broken out in a big warehouse next to Khairpur Gurjar village in Ecotech Third police station area of Greater Noida. After this, 10 fire tenders were dispatched on the spot.
When the fire department employees came and saw that there was a huge fire in the tent warehouse, which was closed. The fire was brought under control after several hours of hard work. The good thing is that due to the closure of this warehouse of the tent house, there was no loss of life. The reasons for the fire are not yet clear. Cooling work is in progress. The cause of the fire will be ascertained after the cooling work is completed.
