Medak: Farmer investigating power supply disruption dies of electrocution

Medak: In a tragic incident in Bandla Pochampalli Village of Veldurthi Mandal on Tuesday, an electric wire snapped from an electricity pole and fell on a farmer. He was checking the transformer after the power supply to his agricultural borewell was disrupted. The victim Gundu Prabhakar (45) was a resident of the same village. When the power supply to the agricultural borewell in the village was disrupted, some farmers including Prabhakar went to the transformer to check it. While they were trying to identify the technical fault, a wire snapped and fell on Prabhakar. He died instantly. Prabhakar is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. A case has been registered.
