Bhagalpur. A middle-aged man jumped into the Ganga river from Vikramshila bridge in Bhagalpur. There was chaos at the spot after the middle-aged man jumped into the Ganga. Whereas in the Ganges it was flowing in a strong current. However, after going some distance, seeing Ganga flowing in the river near the English village, four or five people entered the river and pulled him out.
The middle-aged man has been identified as Ramanand Muni, a resident of Rupauli, Purnia. It is being told that fed up with family feud, he reached Bhagalpur from Rupauli today and jumped from Vikramshila bridge. Here, on receiving information about the incident, Sabour CO sent the SDRF team to the spot on the orders of SDO Dhananjay Kumar. Even before this the villagers swam and took him out safely.
