Minister of State for Defense inspected the preparations for Independence Day

New Delhi (IANS). Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt on Friday inspected the preparations related to the Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort.

During the inspection, Ajay Bhatt appreciated the efforts of NCC cadets, concerned officers and personnel on duty.

Minister of State Ajay Bhatt also addressed the NCC cadets participating in the 77th Independence Day celebrations at Red Fort in New Delhi. These cadets have been selected from all the districts of the country.

Bhatt said that the warriors who sacrificed their lives for the country will always be a source of inspiration for all of us. He described the NCC cadets as future soldiers who would be a strong pillar to maintain the unity and integrity of this country.

You represent the Amrit Kaal generation as NCC cadets and also as the youth generation of the country. This nectar generation will take the country to new heights in the coming 25 years, will make India self-reliant and developed.

The minister listed the initiatives taken by the government under the leadership of PM Modi for the youth of the country. New avenues are opening for the youth in India. Be it India’s digital revolution, India’s startup revolution, innovation revolution, youth are getting the biggest benefit of all these. The reforms taking place in the defense sector are also providing new opportunities for the young generation.

Minister of State for Defence, Bhatt appreciated the enthusiasm and morale of the NCC cadets and honored them with mementos.
