Om Prakash Mathur (born 2 January 1952) is an Indian politician who is currently serving as the Governor of Sikkim. He is a former member of the Rajya Sabha from the state of Rajasthan in India and a senior politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was initially trained by Bhairon Singh Shekhawat but later became a leader on his own in the BJP. He was an RSS pracharak and later became the general secretary in charge of Gujarat BJP.
He is a resident of Bedal village near Falna in Bali tehsil of Pali district of Rajasthan. Born in 1952, he did his B.A. from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. President Draupadi Murmu has appointed Om Prakash Mathur as the Governor of Sikkim on 27 July 2024.
