Minister Ramvichar Netam’s initiative, PVTG families are being benefited from government schemes

On the initiative of Tribal Development Minister Ram Vichar Netam, under the able leadership of Principal Secretary Sonamni Bora and Secretary cum Commissioner Narendra Kumar Dugga, under the second phase of “Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyay Maha Abhiyan” (PM-Janman), PVTG families are being benefited from the schemes of the Central and State Government on mission mode at the state level. At the same time, systematic development of PVTG settlements is also being done. The second phase of PM Janman Yojana will start from 23 August and will be held till 10 September.

In the second phase, by setting up camps near each PVTG settlement, Aadhaar card, ration card, PM Jan Dhan account, Ayushman Bharat card, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Kisan Credit Card, PM Matri Vandan Yojana, caste certificate, residence certificate, forest rights certificate, electricity, water, paved road and other basic facilities are being made available to the beneficiaries. Along with this, online entry of the progress made against the target received from all the nodal departments is also being made. chhattisgarh news

Under the second phase, 30 thousand 393 PVTG beneficiaries have registered so far

Under the second phase, a total of 284 camps have been set up in 18 PVTG settlement districts at the state level. So far, 30 thousand 393 PVTG beneficiaries have registered themselves in these. According to the information received regarding the progress so far, 1013 beneficiaries have been benefited by making Aadhar card, 1813 beneficiaries Ayushman Bharat card, 269 beneficiaries PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, 305 beneficiaries Kisan Credit Card, 553 beneficiaries PM Jan Dhan Yojana, 98 beneficiaries PM Matri Vandan Yojana, 723 beneficiaries ration card, 414 beneficiaries caste certificate, 420 beneficiaries forest rights certificate. Apart from this, beautiful wall paintings have also been done in 821 PVTG settlements. In the second phase, selfie points have been made at 104 camp venues to attract PVTG beneficiaries. 710 hoardings, posters, backdrops have been put up at camp venues for the promotion of the scheme. In these, brief information about the benefits given under the scheme has been given in a very concise manner.

It is worth mentioning that 11 important activities are to be implemented through 9 central ministries under the scheme. These activities include provision of pucca houses, paved roads, tap water/community based drinking water, construction of hostels, mobile medical unit, nutrition through Anganwadi centres, construction of multipurpose centres, electrification of houses (through grid and solar power), establishment of Van Dhan centres, availability of internet and mobile service and skill development for livelihood enhancement. Overall, the main objective of this scheme is to bring about complete development of particularly vulnerable tribal groups and their settlements. All these activities are to be implemented in mission mode within a period of three years and all settlements are to be strengthened structurally as per the requirements.
