Miscreants stole gold, silver and cash in 2 areas of Raipur

Raipur: Once again the incidents of theft have increased unexpectedly in the capital. Thieves are committing thefts every day in different police station areas. Thieves raided two houses in Kabir Nagar and Tikrapara police station areas and made away with gold and silver jewelery worth lakhs of rupees. Police are taking the help of CCTV cameras along with informers to solve the theft incident.

Bindu Singh, a woman living in Kabir Nagar, told the police that on Tuesday evening she had gone to the vegetable market to buy vegetables. After half an hour, when she returned home after buying vegetables, the door of the house was locked from inside. After this she reached inside her house with the help of her neighbor’s roof. When he opened the door of the house from inside, he saw that the latch of the kitchen door was broken. The unknown thief entered the room through the kitchen and broke the cupboard locker and made away with gold and silver jewelery worth more than Rs 1 lakh.

A retired employee of the Irrigation Department living in Tikrapara, Davda Colony, has lodged a complaint in the police station about the theft of gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 2.5 lakh from her house by an unknown thief. According to the police, Nirmala Chaudhary has filed a complaint of theft.
