MLA Mr. Gaur inaugurated TB Hospital and Food Lab, residents will get the benefit of medical facilities
Additional Chief Secretary Mines, Petroleum and Industries Mrs. Veenu Gupta has urged the mine holders of the state to strictly follow the mine safety standards and adopt zero loss mining technology. Emphasizing on environmental protection along with mineral mining, he gave instructions for planting more and more trees. He said that environmental protection is our responsibility and for this intensive tree plantation campaign should be carried out in the mining areas. Smt. Gupta visited various soapstone and dolomite mines around Rabcha and Odan villages of Delwara in Rajsamand on Friday, including Khaitan Business Center and mining areas of the area. Director Mines was doing a field visit with Mr. Sandesh Nayak. During this, Mrs. Gupta along with Director Mines Mr. Sandesh Nayak and Additional Director Mr. Mahesh Mathur along with other officers planted fruitful and shady plants in the mining area. He said that we have to adopt the latest technology of mining so that valuable minerals can be properly exploited and the loss from mining can be kept at the minimum level. During this, he instructed to strictly follow the safety standards so that the safety and health of the laborers and workers working in mining can be ensured. He also took detailed feedback from departmental officers and mining holders.
Director Mines Shri Sandesh Nayak said that special emphasis is being laid by the department on Mines Safety Measures and for this awareness programs are also being run by running campaigns from time to time. He informed that legal mining is being promoted in the state and the department is strictly working on illegal mining. He informed that instructions have also been given to the departmental officers for regular field visits.
During this, Additional Director Mr. Mahesh Mathur gave detailed information about the mining activities of Udaipur division.
During the field visit, departmental officer SME Shri NK Bairwa, Shri Kamleshwar Baregama and mining holders were also present.
