Mla Sunitha Lakshma Reddy Appeals for Singur Water Release
Hyderabad: Narsapur MLA Sunitha Lakshma Reddy has expressed concern over the release of Singur water. She has written an open letter to Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy in this regard. She expressed her concern that farmers are facing serious difficulties due to lack of coordination among officials on the release of water. She stated that the problems are arising due to the lack of proper instructions given to the Manjeera Dam officials.
He said that the paddy fields in the Ghanpur dam area are drying up. He expressed concern that if water is not received, there is a possibility of crop loss in about 60 thousand acres. Do not make the farmers who have invested in debt: Sunitha Lakshma Reddy. Request to immediately give written instructions for the final watering of the crops.
