MLC Sheikh Sabzi dies in road accident in Andhra Pradesh

Vijayawada: Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Shaikh Sabji died in a traffic accident in Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district on Friday. In the incident, the conductor, personal assistant and MLC’s pistol personnel carried out a massive massacre.

Sabji, who was president of the Federation of the United Maestros (UTF), was elected member of the Legislative Council of Maestros from the state electoral district of East Godavari – Kakinada – Konaseema – West Godavari – Eluru in March 2021.

Information reached here said that Sabji had participated in the protest organized by Anganwadi teachers in Eluru city in the morning. When he was going towards Konaseema district, his vehicle was hit by an automobile traveling at high speed in the opposite direction near Cherukuvada village in Undi mandal of Godavari Oriental district.

Sabji was shifted to a hospital in Bhimavaram, where he was declared dead.
