Mock drill to deal with riot, police personnel practiced

Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Siddharth Tiwari, a rehearsal of riot drill parade was conducted at Parade Ground Rakshit Kendra Korba in view of the law and order situation in the coming times.

cg news On Friday, after the parade salute, about 118 policemen were made to practice riot drill. Tear gas, Vajra vehicle, cane party, lathi party, arms party, riot party, Varun (water cannon squad), ambulance party participated in it. In the exercise, one party of police was stopping the rioters and the other party was wearing riot drill kit. As soon as the policemen who became rioters started pelting stones and rioting, the policemen first stopped them with barricades. When they became uncontrolled, tear gas shells were fired. Then the drill was completed through cane, lathi and rifle party.

All gazetted officers and officers and employees of all police stations/outposts/puskas were present in this drill exercise. Through drill exercise, the police were told about handling such situations in a better way.
