Mohan Baral’s talk show will be held tomorrow
Bhilai. A talk show on the art of Bhilai’s famous and senior sculptor Mohan Baral will be organized at the Civic Center Krishna Arjun Rath complex today, Saturday 28th October, on Sharad Purnima. This show has been started to thank Bhilai Steel Plant and Lalit Kala Akademi New Delhi for opening the regional center of Lalit Kala Akademi.
In which, apart from Khairagarh, Raipur, Bilaspur, Kodagaon, Surguja, Durg, Bhilai, this time artists living abroad will also communicate online from 6 to 7 pm. It may be noted that a few days ago, a five-member committee of the Union Ministry of Culture, Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi had visited Bhilai. Chairman Professor V Nagadas, Deputy Secretary Rahas Mohanty and Supreme Court Legal Advisor V.S.R. This high power committee, equipped with people like Krishna, has praised the art and culture here. And it has been declared a place capable of becoming one of the best centers of India in future. Due to which there is a wave of happiness among the artists of Chhattisgarh and the artists who have studied in Khairagarh and have settled in the country and abroad.
Art experts and all the seekers are thanking Bhilai Steel Plant for this collaborative effort. He believes that with this Bhilai city can emerge as a major center of art and culture in Central India. With this, artists who have gone to metropolitan cities for their art can also come back to their hometowns and work. However, this talk show going on in Bhilai is gaining resonance in the global art world and international level artists are also eager to participate in it. For the talk show, an open exhibition of paintings and sculptures is organized near the Rath complex, to see which the art-loving people of Bhilai, which is called Mini India, are flocking. By coming here, common citizens are also understanding the esoteric elements of art and are looking for a career in it for their children.
It is noteworthy here that even great scientists now consider art as the best medium for peace and spiritual peace in the world. Today’s artist in the talk show is sculptor Mohan Baral, who is DPS by profession. He is an art teacher in Durg and has a studio in Talpuri. He is a B.F.A in Sculpture from Khairagarh. And M.F.A. Have received education. Along with the Best Teacher Award, he also received the National Youth Festival Gulberg, Jabalpur, S.C.Z. Nagpur, Mahakoshal Kala Parishad Raipur, Bhilai, Durg and has been honored by the Chief Minister. He has organized workshops and exhibitions in Mumbai, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Gaya, Bacheli. He has participated in Lalit Kala Academy’s Udaipur Rajasthan and Bhilai camps. He has spread the magic of his art in the Chief Minister’s residence, Assembly building, Rajyotsav and Raipur Airport. His art has been collected not only in India but also abroad. The artworks created by him are visible in hundreds of hotels and private residences in Bhilai Raipur. The sculptures and paintings made by him in abstract art are inspiring for the newcomer artists. There is tremendous enthusiasm among Khairagarh as well as local artists regarding his talk show.
