molesting a minor girl student, Police arrested the accused

Dantewada. A case of molestation with a minor girl student has come to the fore. People thrashed the accused and handed him over to the police. The Kotwali police have registered a case and sent the accused youth to jail. This case is related to Katiyaras of Kotwali police station area. Accused Tarun Suryavanshi is a resident of Thota Para of Barsur. The Kotwali police registered a case against the accused under sections of Paxo Act and molestation and arrested him. The victim told that she was going to school on Friday. During this, the accused Tarun caught hold of the hand in the middle of the road. When I tried to get rid of her hand, she said first tell whether she loves me or not, somehow she ran away after getting rid of her hand. The victim told this to her grandmother.

Late in the evening the accused once again reached Katiyarras. He started abusing in front of the victim’s house in a drunken state. The people of the locality also gathered after hearing the noise and abuse. When people came to know that he had molested, angry people caught him and beat him badly. Not only this, even his clothes were torn. The grandmother of the victim says that such people should be paraded naked in the whole city. The people of the locality started beating the young man and taking him to the police station. Someone informed the Kotwali police about the fighting happening in the locality. The police reached the spot and took the accused into custody. Based on the application of the victim’s grandmother, the police registered a case and sent the accused to jail.
