Monkey attacks 13-day-old baby in Karnataka

Chitradurga (IANS). A shocking incident came to light on Sunday in Chitradurga district of Karnataka. A monkey entered the house and targeted a 13-day-old child. The child has been admitted to the hospital where his condition is said to be critical.

According to information, the incident took place in Torekolammanahalli village of Challakere taluk. Manjula and Siddesh’s 13-day-old baby was attacked by a monkey, which injured the child’s forehead.

The mother who reached the spot chased the monkey away, and the child was immediately admitted to the district hospital in Chitradurga.

The villagers say that a week ago the monkey came to the village. A complaint was made to the authorities about this that he should be arrested as soon as possible.
