More than 20 people are suffering from diarrhea, stopped drinking water from hand pump

Janjgir-Champa. The outbreak of diarrhea is increasing rapidly in Tiwari Para of Kharoud town of the district. So far more than 23 people have been affected by it due to drinking contaminated water. There is panic in the area due to the sudden increase in the number of patients.

All the affected patients have been admitted to the nearest health center, where their treatment is going on. The health department team has become active and is conducting door-to-door survey in the area. Also, ORS packets are being distributed to the people and necessary instructions regarding cleanliness are also being given.

For the time being, as a precaution, the hand pump of the locality has been closed. It is feared that the number of patients may increase further in the coming days.
