MP: Old trees have leaned onto houses in Pansemal, raising concerns about safety.

Madhya Pradesh: On Saturday, two nearly 100-year-old banyan and peepal trees in the Uttargali area of Pansemal town suddenly tilted and leaned against two houses, prompting local authorities to take emergency action. These massive trees, which hold religious significance for the residents, had dangerously tilted towards the homes of Yogesh Sharma and Mannalal Sharma, posing a safety risk to the residents.
Upon receiving the information, teams from the municipal corporation and the electricity department rushed to the spot. The team blocked traffic in the lane, cut off the power supply to prevent any electrical hazards, and began efforts to safely remove the trees.
Local shopkeeper Subhash Singh Jadhav said that the administration acted promptly after being informed. There were no reports of injuries or damage to property in the incident.
Tehsildar Sunil Sisodia coordinated with the Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) of the Nagar Parishad, Santram Chauhan, and Junior Engineer Rajendra Patel. Several officers and field staff from both departments, including engineers and linemen, remained present at the site until the rescue operation was completed.
