Mumbai airport receives email threat to blow up Terminal 2
Mumbai: Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) received a threatening email on Thursday. ‘If one million dollars in Bitcoin is not transferred to the specified address we will explode Terminal 2 within 48 hours,’ the material said. Currently investigation is going on.

According to the FIR lodged, at 11:06 am on Thursday MIAL received an email from quaidacasrol@gmail.com email ID on their feedback.bom@aani.com email ID. ‘We will explode Terminal 2 within 48 hours unless one million dollars in Bitcoin is transferred to the specified address (1GixaieWJoJuAqcEJc4hCNDi5gCcpGHJ2W)’ the material said. Another alert will be sent after 24 hours.
An executive officer immediately informed all security officials about the email. Security officials traced the IP address ‘209.85.161.50’, which appears to be from abroad.
