Murder accused arrested for obstructing illicit relationship

Jogulamba Gadwala: The police have arrested the accused in a murder case that took place on the outskirts of Mosal Doddi in Gattu mandal of the district on the 4th of this month and sent him to remand. Gadwala DSP Y. Mogulaiah revealed the details at a press conference organized at Gadwala Circle Police Station on Saturday.
Thimmappa, a brother of Balgera village in Gattu mandal, was having an illicit relationship with his wife Suwarthamma, a man from Mittadoddi village. As Thimmappa was interfering with the illicit relationship, as per Abraham’s plan, Thimmappa and Abraham drank alcohol together on the outskirts of Musaldoddi. In the process, Abraham killed Thimmappa with a stone and fled.
The police, led by Gattu SI Ketimallesh, who registered a case based on the complaint of the family members, started an investigation. As part of this, the police arrested the accused Abraham on Saturday morning and sent him to remand, it was explained. Gadwal CI Tanguturi Srinu, Gattu SI Ketimallesh, and others participated in the meeting.
