Murder after brutality with girl, accused said – repeated what they saw on mobile
Hyderabad: The three school boys who raped and murdered an eight-year-old girl in Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh on July 7 had watched pornographic videos on the phone and tried to repeat the attack on the minor girl. The accused committed this crime in a temple.
SP Adhiraj Singh Rana said that the accused’s father and uncle were scared that a case would be filed against their child, so they took the girl’s body on a bike, tied it to a stone and threw it in the Krishna river. In this case, two accused are 12 years old, who study in class 6, while the third boy is 13 years old, who studies in class 7. The accused of rape and murder of a minor girl of class 3 were taken into custody on July 10.
He also said that the accused lured the victim and then strangled her after raping her. The accused dumped the minor’s body in the canal and informed their relatives about it. The accused’s father and uncle have also been arrested in connection with the case, the SP said.
“The accused were produced in court on Tuesday. We used all resources like drones and underwater cameras and called NDRF personnel to help in the search operation. The search is still on and will continue till the body is found,” Rana said.
Andhra Pradesh Home Minister V Anitha said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has announced financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the minor girl’s family.
