My character in ‘Stree’ is beyond imagination: Abhishek Banerjee

Mumbai (IANS). Actor Abhishek Banerjee is celebrating the 5th anniversary of the horror-comedy film ‘Stree’. In this film, he played the character of Rajkumar Rao’s friend Jana. Abhishek Banerjee said that his character in the film ‘Stree’ is beyond his imagination.

Talking about the film ‘Stree’ completing 5 years, Abhishek said that five years have passed since Jana came alive. The journey that this character has taken is beyond my imagination. Jana’s journey has been remarkable since making her debut with ‘Stree’ and expanding the universe of the character.

She further added that while I started my filmy journey with darker characters, Jana’s character gave me an opportunity to embrace my comic side. I have enjoyed playing the character of Jana. I relate well to it. I am overwhelmed with the love that the audience has showered on me for playing Jana and equally excited that Jana will soon be back with ‘Stree 2’.

Meanwhile, the actor was recently seen in the crime-thriller series ‘Aakhri Sach’ alongside actress Tamannaah Bhatia.
