Nampally Fire Accident Rs 5 Lakh Ex Gratia To Families Of Deceased

Hyderabad: The government has announced ex-gratia to the families of those who died in the massive fire accident at Bachcha Furniture Mall on Nampally Station Road on Saturday. The incident is extremely unfortunate, said Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Minister for Revenue, Housing and Information and Public Relations.

He said that the loss of five innocent lives in this incident is deeply disturbing.
The minister announced that an ex-gratia of Rs. 5 lakh will be provided to the families of each of the deceased in this accident. He said that clear instructions have been issued to Hyderabad District Collector Srihari Chandana to take immediate action in this regard.

He ordered strict action to be taken on fire safety regulations and standards to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future. He said. The preliminary investigation revealed that the fire accident occurred due to the negligence of the shop owner and the person concerned has been taken into custody. He clarified that strict legal action will be taken against those responsible.
