Naxalites with reward of lakhs surrendered
Sukma. Two Naxalites with reward of Rs. 8 lakhs each have surrendered before Sukma police. According to information received from Sukma police, they are identified as Madkam Muya father late Sukka (party member of PLGA battalion no. 01 company no. 02 platoon no. 02 section “B”, reward of Rs. 08 lakhs) age about 22 years, caste Muria resident Eladamdagu police station Bhejji district Sukma and Madkam Sanna father late Sona (party member of PLGA battalion no. 01, company no. 01, platoon no. 03 section “B”/PPCM reward of Rs. 08 lakhs) age about 35 years, caste Muria resident Durandarbha, Kursam Para police station Jagargunda district Sukma.
According to the police, influenced by the Chhattisgarh government’s “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy” and the “Niyad Nella Nar” scheme being run by the Sukma police, and fed up with the increasing influence of the police on the continuous establishment of camps in the highly sensitive interior areas, the inhuman, baseless ideology of the Naxalites and their exploitation, atrocities and discrimination by the outside Naxalites and violence against the local tribals, they have surrendered with the aim of joining the mainstream of the society. According to the police, they surrendered without weapons in front of Neeraj Kumar Singh, Second Command Officer 219 Battalion CRPF, Parmeshwar Tilakwar, Police Sub-Divisional Officer Sukma and Inspector Shivanand Tiwari, Police Station Incharge Sukma, in the office of Superintendent of Police, Sukma.

(01) Madkam Muya father late Sukka resident Eladamdagu (Party member of Battalion No. 01 Company No. 02 Platoon No. 02 Section “B”, reward of Rs. 8 lakhs).

Conta Area Committee team member from September 2020 to October 2020.
Party member of Battalion No. 01 Company No. 02 Platoon No. 02 Section “B” from November 2020 till now.

Details of incident/activities in which he was involved
In the month of October 2020, he was involved in the police-Naxalite encounter in the forest of village Tumirpad.
In the year 2021, he was involved in the police-Naxalite encounter on the edge of the forest-hill at a distance of 500 meters from village Tekalguda (District-Bijapur).
In the year 2022, he was involved in the incident of attacking the police party while setting up the Almagunda camp.
Year 2023 He was involved in the incident of attacking the police party by laying an ambush near village Kunded on the main road from Jagargunda to Kunded.
Year 2024 Incident of attacking security forces in the new police camp Dharmavaram (District Bijapur).
Madkam Sanna father late Sona resident Durandarbha (Party member/PPCM of PLGA Battalion No. 01, Company No. 01, Platoon No. 03 Section “B”, reward of Rs. 8 lakhs)

Jagargunda Area Committee from December 2009 to February 2010.
Party member of Battalion No. 01, Company No. 01 Platoon No. 03, Section “B” from March 2010 to December 2015.
From January 2016 to August 2020, Battalion No. 01, Company No. 01, Platoon No. 03, Section “B”, Deputy Commander/PPCM.
From July 2020 to December 2021, Battalion No. 01, Company No. 01, Platoon No. 03, Section “B” Commander/PPCM.
From January 2022 to June 2022, PPCM of Platoon No. 09 was active under Pamed Area Committee with “DVCM Hemla Vijja”. From July 2022 to December 2022, he has been active with Jagargunda Area Committee ACM “ACM Madvi Bhime (Area Jantana Sarkar President and Sodi Lakhma (Jagargunda LOS Commander)”.

Details of incident/activities in which he was involved
In the year 2010, he was involved in the police-naxal encounter incident in the edge of the forest-hill situated at a distance of about 01 km from village Tadmetla.
In the year 2014, he was involved in the police-naxal encounter incident in the forest at a distance of about 500 meters from village Kasalpaad.
In the year 2017, he was involved in the incident of attacking the security forces engaged in the construction work of the main road of village Burkapal.
In the year 2020, he was involved in the incident of attacking the security forces engaged in the construction work of the main road of village Minpa. He was involved in a police-Naxal encounter in a forest-hill at a distance of 01 km.
In the year 2021, he was involved in a police-Naxal encounter on the edge of a forest-hill at a distance of 500 meters from village Tekalguda (district Bijapur).
In the year 2023, he was involved in an ambush and attack on a police party near village Kunded on the main road from Jagargunda to Kunded.
