NBW issued against singer Saurin Bhatt
Cuttack: According to reliable reports, the Commissionerate Police on Tuesday issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Hollywood singer Saurin Bhatt.
It is also noteworthy that, the Commissionerate Police had appealed to the court to issue NBW against Saurin Bhatt, the latest reports in this regard said.
The Commissionerate Police had issued a look-out circular against Hollywood singer Saurin Bhatt on September 11, 2023.
According to reports August 31, 2023, famous Ollywood singer Saurin Bhatt is likely to be arrested soon as the Commissionerate Police has reportedly started the process to arrest him.
According to sources, Cuttack Mahila Police Station has formed a special team to arrest Saurin Bhatt and has started the process to arrest her.
Mahila police initiated the process to arrest the singer as the Orissa High Court on Wednesday rejected his anticipatory bail plea in a sexual assault case.
Apart from rejecting Bhatt’s anticipatory bail plea, the court also canceled the interim protection granted to him till August 1, 2023. So, now the police will arrest them after finding out their current location.
Giving details of the development, ACP Zone-II Amitav Mohapatra said the police received a court order rejecting Bhatt’s bail plea and scrapping the interim protection granted to him.
It is pertinent to mention here that a case was registered against Bhatt at the Mahila Police Station here on June 12 based on the complaint of a woman, a resident of Cuttack city, working in a private bank.
Let us tell you here that a woman had filed a case in the women’s police station alleging that the singer had sexually exploited her on the pretext of marriage. Furthermore, the complainant also claimed that the singer had tortured and exploited her after taking Rs 10 lakh from her.
