NCC inspires discipline, courage and selfless service: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that NCC is such an organization that teaches discipline to the youth, builds character, makes them courageous and inspires them for selfless service. NCC also encourages our youth to make their career in the army and other security forces. The Chief Minister was addressing the felicitation ceremony of NCC cadets and instructors organized at his residence premises today. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Brijmohan Agarwal, MLA Purandar Mishra, Bhavana Bohra, DG NCC Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh, ADG Major General AK Mahajan, Group Commander Brigadier VS Chauhan of NCC Headquarters Raipur, Chhattisgarh, including army officers and cadets were present.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai congratulated and wished the NCC officers and cadets involved in the Republic Day Parade. He said that this is a moment of great pride. It is very pleasant to see the NCC cadets of the state parading on the duty path of New Delhi. Selection of a cadet of the state for the Republic Day parade is a big achievement not only for that cadet but for the entire state.

Sai said that it is a matter of great happiness that the participation of girls in NCC is increasing. Our girls have increased the pride of Chhattisgarh by leading NCC from national to international level. He said that India is the youngest country in the world. Today the whole world is praising the achievements of India. The youth definitely have a big role in these achievements. Our successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the goal of building a developed India before the country by the year 2047. With the contribution of our energetic youth, we will definitely achieve this goal and establish our country as the strongest nation in the world. The Chief Minister said that whatever work you do in the future, always remember that you are doing the work of nation building.
On this occasion, trainees and cadets were felicitated for their outstanding performance in various national competitions organized by NCCC. At the end of the felicitation ceremony, the cadets presented a dance based on the Baiga tribe and a Kuchipudi dance.
NCC officials shared the achievements of the NCC Raipur Group and said that it is the largest NCC group in the country in which 16 units are operated. 342 educational institutions are affiliated to the NCC Raipur Group, it has about 23 thousand students, of which 43% are girls. Regarding the Republic Day Parade of this year 2024, he said that a total of 25 women cadets participated in it, out of which four cadets were from Chhattisgarh, which is a matter of pride for us. Along with this, he gave detailed information about the activities and achievements conducted by the NCC Raipur Group.
