Jagdalpur. Orders have been issued by the state government in exercise of the powers conferred by the Chhattisgarh Essential Services Maintenance and Disruption Prevention Act. Chhattisgarh prohibits refusal to work by doctors, nurses, health workers and officers and employees working in ambulance services, working in all works and essential services of health facilities related to Chhattisgarh Health and Family Welfare Department. In pursuance of the referred order, the strike has been directed to return to work immediately.

After implementing ESMA from the state government, the district administration has issued a notice to the NHM employees and issued instructions and orders to attend their services immediately.
