Thaveka workers decide to field Vijay from Perambur

Tamil Nadu: A meeting of party workers passed a resolution that Thaveka leader Vijay should contest from the Perambur Assembly constituency.
A meeting of party workers from the Perambur Assembly constituency in Chennai was held in Vyasarpadi on Sunday. Speaking at the meeting, Adhav Arjun, General Secretary of the party’s election campaign management, said that the DMK has formed a wrong perception about North Chennai.
Vijay will lead North Chennai on the path of development. Therefore, I propose that Vijay should contest from the Perambur Assembly constituency, he said.
Following this, Thaveka General Secretary Anand said that it would be right for Vijay to contest from this constituency. He said that we all accept Adhav’s proposal.
Following this, K.A., Chief Coordinator of the party’s high-level executive committee, Speaking to reporters, Sengottaiyan said that in a meeting of workers from Perambur assembly constituency, it was insisted that Vijay should be the candidate for all 234 assembly seats in Tamil Nadu.
