Newly married man dies of heart attack after sleeping

Palakkad: A twenty-six-year-old man died of a heart attack in the early hours of Wednesday. The deceased, Shefiq (26), of Pathayapurakkal, was married to Kapoor in Kanjirathani in Palakkad a month ago. He had gone to sleep and in the early morning showed signs of restlessness. He then became unconscious and was taken to a private hospital in Perumpilvu, but his life could not be saved. Initial estimates are that the cause of death is a heart attack. Shefiq’s wife is Zefira. After post-mortem, his body will be handed over to the family.

Meanwhile, an employee of an Indian Coffee House in Thiruvananthapuram was found hanging. The incident took place at Indian Coffee House in Balaramapuram. Lal Singh (50), a resident of Vlangamuri in Neyyattinkara, hanged himself in the toilet of the restaurant.
