News of bomb at Patna airport stirs, investigation turns out to be wrong
Patna (IANS) | There was a stir on Wednesday after receiving information about the bomb at Jayaprakash Narayan Airport in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Police force and bomb disposal squad reached the airport after receiving information about the bomb.
According to the police, after this information, the police took a front outside and inside the airport and on the basis of the information, the search for the bomb started.
The bomb was searched everywhere in the airport, but the bomb was not found.
Patna’s Senior Superintendent of Police Rajeev Mishra said that at around 10:45 am, the Patna airport official was informed about the bomb at the airport through an unknown phone call.
As soon as the information was received by the Airport Authority, the team of Patna Police immediately reached the airport, along with Bomb Disposal Squad, CISF and other security agencies, carried out a precautionary security check of the airport premises inside and outside.
No bomb or any other explosive substance was found during the security check.
He told that this information has been found wrong from the investigation so far. He said that in this context the caller has been identified, who has been detained by the Samastipur police for questioning. The mobile used to make the call has also been recovered.
