Nigerian woman arrested with drugs worth Rs 2 crore
Mumbai: A Nigerian woman was arrested for trying to smuggle heroin worth Rs 20 lakh from Mumbai to Delhi, an Air Force Intelligence Unit (AIU) official said on Sunday. Then, based on specific information, an AIU stopped a woman traveling from Mumbai to Delhi on Saturday morning. After searching him, AIU detectives found a stash in which 20 capsules of heroin were allegedly hidden, the operator said. This drug was delivered to him by a person named Oni from Nalasopara district near Palghar. A woman was booked under relevant sections of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and a more thorough investigation into the case is underway, increasing the number of people responsible.
