Nilgai’s life was saved by the forest department, rescued from the well

Balrampur. A nilgai had fallen into a well in Aragahi Nawapara village of Ramanujganj forest range in the district. On getting the information, the youth of the village along with the forest department team rescued the nilgai and brought it out safely. After the rescue, Nilgai was treated and released back into the wild.

The ranger told that the villagers informed that a nilgai had fallen in the well. After getting the information, our team reached the spot. Nilgai was successfully rescued with the help of local youth. After this Nilgai was treated and left in the forest near the city.

After this, the youths of the house, Shravan Yadav and Devvrat Rai, tried to get Nilgai out with the help of other villagers and the forest department by getting into the well. Everyone pulled the nilgai out somehow by tying it in a net. Then the villagers left Nilgai in the Van Vatika forest near the city after getting treatment from the vet.
