Nitish Kumar Elected Leader Of NDA Set To Be 10 Time Bihar Chief Minister

JDU chief Nitish Kumar is all set to take charge as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the tenth time. Nitish Kumar, who has already served as the Chief Minister nine times, was elected as their leader by all the alliance MLAs at the NDA legislative party meeting held today.
With this, the stage is set for the formation of a new government in Bihar. It is reported that Nitish Kumar, who was elected as the floor leader, will meet the Governor soon and submit a letter stating that he is ready to form the government. Nitish is likely to take oath as the Chief Minister for the tenth time tomorrow at the invitation of the Governor. Along with him, several ministers will also be sworn in.
In the coalition government, four or five LJP MLAs from JDU and BJP are also likely to get ministerial berths. Meanwhile, in the recently held Bihar Assembly elections, the NDA alliance, with JDU, BJP and LJP as the main parties, achieved a resounding victory. Out of the total 243 seats, it won 202 seats. The opposition grand alliance was limited to 41 seats. Out of these, RJD got only 25 seats and Congress got only 5 seats.
