Not only tomatoes, the prices of these vegetables also increased

There is a huge increase in the price of vegetables from North to West and South India. Where the prices of tomatoes have gone beyond 100 rupees. At the same time, the prices of okra, tinda, brinjal and other vegetables are also skyrocketing. In fact, since the onset of monsoon, the transport cost has increased in the country. At the same time, due to the unnecessary rains earlier, the crops were also damaged. Tremendous increase in the price of vegetables has also been observed in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. TV9 team collected data on the price of vegetables in different parts of the country and saw how much more the prices of different vegetables are increasing after the arrival of monsoon. First of all, let’s start with the country’s capital Delhi.
Vegetables became costlier in Delhi
Before the rains, okra was being sold at Rs 30 per kg in Delhi, which has now become Rs 50. The price of brinjal has increased from Rs.40 to Rs.50. The price of cabbage has reached from Rs 50 to Rs 80. The price of cabbage has doubled ie from Rs 15 to Rs 30, bitter gourd has decreased from Rs 30 to Rs 40 per kg. The price of capsicum has increased by Rs.10 and the price has come down to Rs.50. The price of Kachalu has come down from Rs.30 to Rs.80. Mushroom has reached from Rs 100 to Rs 150. Cucumber has come down from Rs.20 to Rs.40. Broccoli was Rs 60, which has now increased to Rs 250 per kg.
Vegetable prices increased in Chandigarh/Punjab as well
An increase in the prices of vegetables has also been observed in the western part of the country, Punjab or Chandigarh. The price of potato and onion has increased from Rs 20 to Rs 25. The price of tomato has increased from Rs 30 to Rs 70 to Rs 80. The price of beans has come down to 40 to 60 rupees. The price of brinjal has increased from Rs.30 to Rs.40 to 50 per kg. Torai has increased by Rs.20 and the price has reached Rs.60. The price of bottle gourd has doubled and has come down from Rs.30 to Rs.60. The price of pumpkin has increased from Rs.20 to Rs.40. The price of capsicum has increased. Increase of almost 3 times i.e. from Rs.20 to Rs.60. The price of cauliflower has come down from Rs.40 to Rs.80.
Tomato and ginger caught fire in Jaipur
Its effect is being seen in the prices of vegetables in Jaipur’s Muhana Mandi. Rahul Tavar, president of Muhana Mandi, told that the prices of tomato and ginger are skyrocketing. Tomatoes in the market are coming from Bengaluru in Maharashtra, Solan in Himachal. The arrival of tomatoes from the local areas has ended. Tomato is coming from other states. Ginger is coming from Bangalore. Due to the weak crop of ginger, the prices are increasing significantly. There will be an increase in the prices of vegetables in the coming days. Tomato is Rs 70 a kg in the market. The price of ginger has reached up to Rs.195.
Inflation on vegetables in Bhopal too
Tomato prices have come down from Rs 40 to Rs 100 per kg in Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh. The price of ginger has reached Rs 200 per kg. The price of garlic has doubled ie from Rs 80 to Rs 160. The price of okra has increased by Rs 10 and the price has come down to Rs 50. There has been a jump of Rs 20 in the price of bitter gourd and there has been a jump in the price. Come to Rs 60 per kg. Gourd has come down from Rs.40 to Rs.50.
