Notice to steel companies, NHAI sought response
Raipur: National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued notices to four big steel companies of Chhattisgarh, Shri Bajrang Power and Steel, Heera Steel, Shri Nakoda and MSP Steel and Power. These companies had supplied steel material in different projects of NHAI. Which did not meet the quality standards, after which a show cause notice has been issued to the companies and a reply has been sought within 15 days. chhattisgarh news
Under the notice of NHAI, Shri Bajrang Power and Steel Company got the work of supplying TMT in the work of six lane road in Maharashtra. Heera Steel got the work of supplying TMT in NH 146 in Madhya Pradesh. Nakoda Steel had to supply TMT bars for the construction of NH 45C in Tamil Nadu. MSP Steel of Raigarh got the work of supplying TMT for Bharatmala project under NH 169 in Karnataka. The National Highways Authority of India has issued notices to 11 companies across the country. These include four companies from Chhattisgarh, who have been asked in the notices that why should the right to supply to your firm not be suspended for supplying substandard material.
