OAS toppers married each other in a ceremony

Bhubaneswar: Two OAS toppers married each other in a simple ceremony in Odisha capital Bhubaneswar, reports say. Odisha Administrative Service officers (OAS) who have tied the knot are Ananya Srishti Satpathy and Debraj Kar. As per reports available, both the officers decided to stay away from the frills and married each other in a simple, low-key ceremony at the Bhubaneswar sub-registrar office.

Further reports suggest that after the wedding, the officer visited an orphanage and spent time with the residents there. It is noteworthy that both the OAS officers got married without any fanfare because they said that the girls’ parents should save for the girl’s education and not for her marriage. Due to this belief, both the officers decided to get married in a simple ceremony and set an example for such parents and brought about a change in their mentality.
