Odisha Assembly adjourned sine die
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Assembly adjourned sine die on Wednesday. Assembly Speaker adjourned the House for indefinite period today. It was done 20 days before scheduled closure of the Winter Session.
The Winter Session of Odisha Assembly was scheduled to continue till December 31 with 30 working days. However, it ended with 12 working days.

The winter session of the Odisha Assembly, which began on December 26, ended today. This session was closed 16 working days before. The supplementary budget was passed. Along with the passage of 2 government bills, 10 private bills were introduced.
For this winter session of the Assembly, 8 temporary camps were prepared by the Commissionerate Police. As many as 24 platoon forces were deployed.
Under the leadership of the DCP, 8 additional DCPs, 2 companies of CRPF, 2 units of Special Tactical Unit, 4 platoons of SOG, Dog Squad, and Bomb Disposal Squad were deployed.
