Odisha Principal Accountant General (A&E) Ananta Kishore Behera passes away
Bhubaneswar: Ananta Kishore Behera, senior officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service and Principal Accountant General of Odisha (A&E), passed away last night. As per reliable reports, he passed away while undergoing treatment at the AIIMS hospital.
Ananta Kishore Behera was born in the Kuapala Kuhunda village near Mahanga in Cuttack district of Odisha. He was suffering from lung infection. His elder brother, Vishnu Charan Behera, and wife, Jayshree Parida were present with him at the hospital.
Upon finding out about Ananta Kishore Behera’s demise, several senior officers from his department reached the hospital, said reliable reports. These officers included Audit Accountant General Shri Raj Kumar, Economic & Revenue audit genera Biswanath Singh Jadon, Sr. Deputy accountant general Deepak Raghu, Deputy secretaries P. Ashoka, S. Aruna, State BJP Vice-President Shri Samarth Sinha, Welfare Officer Ashok Chandra Panda, among other officers.
Ananta Kishore Behera was 52 years old at the time of his demise.
His mortal remains are currently kept at his residence in B-11 Capital Hospital Road until his last rites. His last rites are scheduled to take place at 10 AM today.
