Odisha vigilance raid in Nimapara on OSWC employee

Nimapara: Based upon reliable information an Odisha vigilance raid has taken place in Nimapara of Puri district in Odisha, said reliable reports.The raid has been conducted on Debiprasad Mohanty, who works as a Superintendent Godown in Nimapara of Puri of the Odisha State Warehousing Corporation.

According to reports, Debiprasad was intercepted by a team of Odisha Vigilance while he was waiting for a bus at Nimapara.Reportedly, cash worth Rs.2.14 Lakh (suspected ill-gotten cash) was found in his possession. As Mohanty could not account for satisfactorily, the amount was recovered from him and seized.

Following the interception, simultaneous searches are being carried out at 3 locations of Sri Mohanty from DA angle. He is being examined to ascertain the source of funds, said latest reports in this regard. Detailed report awaited in this matter.
