Oil theft from transformer in Telibandha, revealed after power supply was stopped

Raipur: A funny incident of theft has come to light from the capital. Thieves stole the diesel filled in the electric transformer. According to the Telibandha police, Himanshu Shukla, a resident of Khaprabhatti Khamtarai, lodged a report on Sunday night. A thief took out 500 liters of oil filled in a transformer.

Due to the failure of power supply in the area, the employees who reached the spot saw it. It was told that the transformer worth 8 lakh 2876 had failed. The cost of the stolen oil is more than 1 lakh. Police has registered a case of Section 379 on the report of Himanshu Shukla.
