Old woman dead and man critical in Jajpur of Odisha

Jajpur: In a shocking incident, an old woman has died and a man has been critically injured in Jajpur district of Odisha.

The old woman allegedly died after drinking poison and the the man is seriously ill. The incident allegedly happened in Korei police station Jajpur district. The man and woman took the step following a family dispute.

Umamani Behera and her husband Babaji Behera drank poison due to a family dispute late last night. The family rescued them in a critical condition and admitted them to the Anandpur sub-district hospital. There the doctor declared Umamani dead. Husband Babaji is undergoing treatment and is in a critical condition.

Police reached the spot and started investigation. Further detailed reports awaited in this regard.
