District exiled miscreant found roaming in Bastar Road vegetable market, arrested

Dhamtari. District exiled surveillance miscreant Vishal Banjare has been caught roaming in Dhamtari. To maintain peace, security and law and order in the district, surveillance miscreants and anti-social elements are being constantly monitored. In this sequence, City Kotwali Police Station Dhamtari received information from an informer that District exiled surveillance miscreant Vishal Banjare, who was expelled from Dhamtari district for 01 year, is roaming near Bastar Road Sabzi Mandi without valid permission. On receiving the information, the team of Police Station Kotwali took immediate action and cordoned off the area and detained the accused on the spot. During interrogation, the accused was not found to have any valid document for entering the district.

This act of the accused being a punishable offence under Section 15 of Chhattisgarh State Security Act 1990 and Section 223 of Indian Justice Code (BNS), a crime was registered at Police Station City Kotwali and the accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court on judicial remand. It is noteworthy that the accused was banished from the district for 01 year by the District Magistrate Dhamtari on 10.02.2025.
