On the first Monday of the month of Shravan, the Devasthan Minister performed Rudrabhishek and wished for the prosperity and happiness of the state.

On the first Monday of the month of Shravan, Devasthan Minister Mrs. Shakuntala Rawat performed Sahastradhara Rudrabhishek at Shri Rameshwarji Temple located in Amber, Jaipur. He performed Rudrabhishek with rituals and wished for prosperity and good rains in the state amidst recitation of Rudripatha. He said that Lord Shiva has blessed on the first Monday of Shravan itself and Indradev has showered happiness in the form of good rain all around.
The Devasthan Minister said that Rudrabhishek is being organized in the pagodas under the department as per the schedule. This program will be organized on every Monday of the month of Shravan. He said that there is special importance of worshiping Lord Shiva in the month of Shravan, therefore the department has made arrangements for worshiping and special adornment in pagodas for the devotees. He said that instructions have been given to the higher officials of the department for all the events of Shravan month and Adhik month.
Minister Smt. Rawat told that moving forward with the intention of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot, ‘Seva Hi Karma-Seva Hi Dharma’, the Devasthan Department is carrying out the development works of religious places in the state. Referring to the department’s Nandan Kanan scheme, he said that through the scheme, plantation work is being done in all the temples under the department for environmental protection. He said that under this scheme, trees and plants like Tulsi, Aparajita, Peepal, Bilpatra, Sadabahar, Chameli, Amla are being planted in the temples where there is sufficient availability of raw soil, land and water. Flowers will also be available to the devotees from these trees and plants for worshiping in the temple premises itself. They will be taken care of by the temple administration. He said that trees and plants have great importance from the point of view of our religious scriptures and many trees and plants are symbols of our religious beliefs.
Jaipur Heritage Mayor Smt. Munesh Gurjar also congratulated the people of the state for the month of Shravan and Adhik Maas by performing rituals and rituals in the Rudrabhishek program.
