OpenAI to roll out ‘GPT builder’ option for ChatGPT subscribers soon
San Francisco: In advance of OpenAI’s inaugural developer conference, a significant leak has unveiled an intriguing ChatGPT update that introduces a custom chatbot creator.
As per the leaked screenshots and videos, this chatbot creator harnesses several advanced features already present in ChatGPT powered by GPT-4, such as web browsing capabilities and data analysis, as reported by ‘The Verge.’ The initial news scoop came courtesy of ‘The Decoder.’
The report suggests that OpenAI is set to introduce a novel marketplace where users can both share their customized chatbots and explore those crafted by others.
Furthermore, an SEO tools developer named Tibor Blaho shared a video showcasing the user interface in action. It demonstrated a “GPT Builder” option that enables users to provide a prompt, for instance, “create a chatbot that assists in generating visuals for new products.”
The video highlights options for selecting a default language, setting the tone, and defining the writing style for the chatbot within the “Create” section. Moving on to the “Configure” page, users have fields to name their creation, provide a description, and issue instructions regarding the capabilities and limitations of the chatbot.
In an additional revelation, a user by the name of Choi, who initially summarized the rumored updates a few days ago on platform X, claimed that OpenAI has plans to roll out an enterprise ‘Team’ subscription plan, offering both ‘Flexible’ and ‘Annual’ subscription options.
