Opposition doing negative politics, doesn’t appreciate development: Modi
New Delhi IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday attacked the opposition, saying it neither wants to do anything constructive nor appreciates the development work done in the last few years.
In his virtual address after laying the foundation stone for the redevelopment of 508 railway stations through video conferencing, Modi said, “Unfortunately, a section of the opposition is still following the old ways. They will neither do any work themselves nor will they help others.” Let’s do something.”
He attacked the opposition, saying, “The country built a modern Parliament House, but this faction opposed the new Parliament House. We redeveloped Duty Path, but they opposed that too. When we built the National War Memorial, He criticized it as well.
The Prime Minister said that in honor of Sardar Patel, a “Statue of Unity” was built in Gujarat, but no opposition leader had ever visited it and paid their respects to the freedom fighter.
“They remember Sardar Patel only during elections. We need to move forward with our positive politics of development and leave the negative politics behind,” he said.
The Prime Minister informed that on August 7, India will celebrate National Handloom Day dedicated to the Swadeshi movement.
Modi said, “This day is a reminder for every Indian to ‘Vocal for Local’. A few days later, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, we should opt for an eco-friendly celebration.”
