Opposition running away from debate on November 1: Punjab CM
Chandigarh (IANS). Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday criticized opposition leaders for avoiding the debate on November 1.
The Chief Minister said that the opposition leaders are in collusion with those who are ruining the state, hence they are running away from the debate. “The hands and souls of these leaders are stained with the blood of the state as they have betrayed Punjab and its people,” it said in a statement.
CM Mann said that people can never forgive these leaders for their sins against Punjab.
The Chief Minister said the debate would focus on who has looted Punjab so far and how, nepotism, favouritism, toll plazas, youth, agriculture, traders, shopkeepers, Gurbani, plunder of river water and others.
He said that these leaders have betrayed Punjab on all these issues, for which they are answerable to the people of the state. CM Mann said that whether these leaders come or not, I will go and keep the chairs of these leaders for the debate.
