Orders to keep liquor shops closed on Moharram

Narayanpur. Collector and District Magistrate Ajit Vasant has declared July 29 as dry day on the occasion of “Moharram”. All retail shops of country and foreign liquor and FL 4 (a) business club and FL 7 military canteen located in the district will be completely closed. The District Excise Officer has been directed to keep complete control over collection, manufacturing, transportation and sale of illegal liquor in the district during dry days.

Application for printing caste and forest rights certificate invited till August 25

In the financial year 2023-24, the Tribal Development Department has invited applications till August 25 for the printing of caste certificates and forest rights certificates for students of educational institutions and hostels in Narayanpur district and registers in hostels. For more information, the Assistant Commissioner can take information by appearing in office hours at the Office of Tribal Development, Narayanpur.
