Vijayawada: Reiterating that the only agenda of the tripartite alliance is to remove the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government from power, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has said that their only goal is to change the state administration for the betterment of the people.
Addressing the ‘Athmiya Samanvay Samavesam’ (coordination meeting) with leaders of JSP, TDP and BJP in Pithapuram on Sunday, the JSP chief said they have formed an unconditional alliance for the better future of the state. “Normally, it would be difficult to form a tripartite alliance as there are many hurdles in seat sharing apart from dissatisfaction and conflict of interest. However, the TDP-BJP-JSP alliance has come into existence without any interruption as the common goal is to end Jagan’s demonic rule in the state,” he explained.
Pawan Kalyan admitted that the electoral pact has left many leaders of his own party disappointed and frustrated as they could not get a chance to contest the elections. “But they have sacrificed their seats wholeheartedly for the betterment of the state,” he said, adding that when the BJP asked for more MP seats, his party sacrificed its share.
“In TDP, 70-80% cadre is in favor of the alliance, which made this possible. JSP announces name of Vizag South Assembly candidate
On expected lines, Jana Sena Party declared Choudhary Vamsi Krishna Srinivas Yadav as the party candidate for Visakhapatnam South Assembly constituency. Now, he has to announce candidates for Avanigadda and Palakonda constituencies. Pawan Kalyan also announced a five-member coordination committee for the seats the JSP is contesting and the responsibility of the Pithapuram constituency has been handed over to Mareddy Srinivas.
