Over 2,280 health camps organized under Mukhyamantri Dai-Didi Clinic Yojana

Raipur. Over 2,280 health camps were successfully organized under the ‘Mukhyamantri Dai-Didi Clinic Yojana’ through mobile clinics. These camps have offered medical services to 1,70,335 women and girls residing in slums within the Raipur, Bilaspur, and Bhilai municipal corporation areas.

Implemented by the Urban Administration and Development Department, the scheme aims to ensure healthcare services reach the women and girls residing in slum areas. Equipped with all female doctors and paramedical staff, the mobile medical units conduct free check-ups and provide treatment for various ailments to those in need.

These mobile medical units have performed lab tests for 34,420 women and distributed free medicines to 1,61,254 women. Earlier, women living in impoverished slum areas or engaged in labour-intensive work faced challenges in accessing healthcare. However, with the introduction of Dai-Didi Clinics, these women can now conveniently receive treatment near their homes through dedicated female healthcare professionals and staff, eliminating barriers to healthcare access.
