Paddy loaded truck burnt to ashes, incident on National Highway

Mahasamund. A massive fire broke out in a truck laden with paddy parked on the National Highway in the district. Due to this, 35 percent of the paddy loaded on the truck has been burnt to ashes.

As soon as information about the incident was received, police and fire brigade teams reached the spot. The accident took place in Tumgaon police station area.

According to the information received, truck serial number CG06 GB 8233 was parked near Kauwajhar on NH 53 due to puncture.

During this time the truck suddenly caught fire. As soon as the driver saw the car on fire, he jumped out of the truck and saved his life. Meanwhile, the fire brigade team arrived after receiving information about the incident and brought the fire under control.
